Take a stand for wild land

Our newest film Stop Stronelairg is here – and we wanted to share it with you first.

Wild places are part of our heritage and treasured landscape. We depend on them for clean air and water, and for health and recreational benefits too.

But wild land in the heart of the Monadhliath Mountains is soon to be the site of the largest single industrial energy development in the Scottish Highlands unless we can stop it.

The John Muir Trust has started legal action to bring proper scrutiny to the Scottish Government’s approval of this wind development. We are calling for a Public Local Inquiry. We are challenging a loss of wildness which can never be replaced and which has implications for the protection of wild land elsewhere.

Please share this film on your own networks and channels.

We appreciate the support we’ve already received, but the legal action we are taking is expensive. If you haven’t donated, and can do, we desperately need your help.

Thank you.
