Consideration of a controversial application to extend the Millennium wind
farm in the hills to the west of the Great Glen by 10 turbines, has been
delayed by Highland councillors. The south area planning applications
committee agreed to visit the site before deciding whether to object to the
application from Falck Renewables.

The final decision will be taken by Scottish ministers, but an objection
from the Highland Council as a statutory consultee, could trigger a public
inquiry.
