Attached is Times article on the failure of the Hunterston subsea cable.  It has been off since 10th Jan.  Constraints over 11th to 14th Jan have been 6.2 million……

Constraint payments to Scottish wind power have been high this January, and particularly high in the last few days, due probably to a combination of high winds and the interconnector failure. 
Payments since the Western Link failed on the 10th, i.e. 11th + 12th + 13th+14th = £6.2m.
