For a number of years a wind turbine has been in operation at our Cumbernauld site.  This turbine has now been removed to facilitate the construction and operation of additional large scale wind energy projects in Scotland, thereby supporting the achievement of Scottish climate change targets.

How does this make sense, removing a wind turbine to expand large wind projects? Is it on the same site, removing one turbine to replace it with more?

All we know at the moment is that there is no planning application for any turbines on that site.
