Highland Council object to the proposed development for the following reasons: 1. The proposed development is contrary to the provisions of the Highland-wide Local Development Plan Policy 67 (Renewable Energy) and Policy 28 (Sustainable Design), the Onshore Wind Energy Supplementary Guidance and Scottish Planning Policy as the proposed wind farm would have a significantly detrimental visual impact particularly as viewed by road users (including tourists), recreational users of the outdoors and residential receptors in the vicinity of the site but particularly to the north, north east and south of the site.
