It is common knowledge that the cost of renewables and specifically wind are responsible for pushing up household energy bills with the knock on effect that the poorest in society are being pushed into fuel poverty.
A new site has been launched which provides an online calculator to calculate how much additional charges are being added to your energy bills due to the unsustainable and generous subsidies passed onto renewable companies via green taxes such as the Renewable Obligation Certificates, Feed In Tariffs and Carbon Taxes.
The site also has a template letter you can use to send to your MP to seek the reduction of subsidies, simply add your postcode, and the site will automatically find your MP and give you the option of sending them a template letter online.
