That’s shocking! The Scottish government should be ashamed of themselves for inflicting this monster on the people of Methil. I don’t know how they could even think that this is acceptable. Can you imagine the shadow flicker, not just in people’s homes but also on the ground. I don’t care what investments have been made, the so-called authorities have no moral right to inflict this on people. Shame on the lot of you!

It’s a bit disappointing that a website calling itself ‘Scotland against spin’ uses, well, spin. The perspective in the photos is rather forced. The red-and-cream building shown is half a mile from the turbine, with the closest housing well over 500 yards from the turbine. Flicker might be a problem… for all of about two minutes at sunrise. For two houses. For a few days a year. Oh, except there’s a row of trees between the turbine and the houses. Never mind.
