CKD Galbraith the independent property consultancy with offices
throughout Scotland has been appointed as sole agent to market an
operational wind turbine development that benefits from an accreditation
under the Feed-in Tariff regime.

The firm is sole agent for the development, which encompasses a two-turbine
site near Oldhamstocks in East Lothian, utilising Enercon E48 turbines with
a total installed capacity of 1500KW.

The scheme has been operational for just over two years and benefits from a
strong suite of historic operational data while continuing to offer a
lengthy period of Feed-in Tariff (FiT) support.

The location has a strong wind resource and Calum Innes, Partner at CKD
Galbraith, said that the operation would likely be of interest to investors
looking to expand a portfolio of FiT-qualifying renewable electricity
generation assets.

He added: “With the compelling returns offered by FiT schemes, this is a
rare and highly attractive investment opportunity. Add to this that the
development is underpinned by a popular turbine model with a strong O&M
offer and this is an ideal scheme for the FiT portfolio operator.”
