Overview
Local Place Plans are community led plans providing proposals for the development and use of land. Introduced by the Planning (Scotland) Act 2019 these plans will set out a community’s aspirations for its future development.
Why we are consulting
Whilst the bulk of provisions for Local Place Plans are to be found within the changes in the Planning (Scotland) Act 2019 to the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997, this left a number matters to secondary legislation. We wish to consult on these matters which relate to the preparation, content, submission and registration of Local Place Plans.  https://consult.gov.scot/local-government-and-communities/local-place-plan-regulations/?fbclid=IwAR1QbIM8e03Tb5zUSiRy2doIkYWHRR7ibipPqWB2csCZPyKFOeLMjPpcbwI
