Campaign group Net Zero Watch has revealed that four major institutions have produced erroneous estimates of the cost of decarbonising the economy.
Last weekend, the Sunday Telegraph revealed that the Committee on Climate Change had seriously underestimated the amount of electricity storage required for Net Zero, because it had not considered the possibility of back-to-back years with low wind.
But it can now be revealed that the same error has also been made by the National Infrastructure Commission and National Grid ESO.
