Stewartry residents can have their say on a huge renewables project near Laurieston at three public consultations next week.
Drop–in events to view and discuss the proposed Lairdmannoch Energy Park will be held at Laurieston, Twynholm and Ringford on September 3, 4 and 5 respectively.
Developers Wind2 are bringing forward the scheme.
The plans include nine turbines standing 600 feet high – taller than Blackpool Tower – on moorland approximately one mile north-east of Loch Whinyeon above Gatehouse of Fleet.
Solar panel arrays would be sited in a two-kilometre arc along Tarf Water as it exits Loch Mannoch then down towards Ringford and the A762.
Battery storage, access roads and other infrastructure also form part of the development, which has yet to be submitted to planners.
If built it would cover around five square kilometres of land midway between Gatehouse, Ringford and Laurieston.
