Energy Minister Fergus Ewing has today refused planning consent for the Harelaw Renewable Energy Park proposed wind farm within planning authority areas of East Ayrshire and East Renfrewshire Councils.

I had to laugh. If the SNP/ Ewing. REALLY cared about locals concerns he wouldn’t have built Whitlee slap bang in the middle is some of East Ayrshires beautiful wild countryside. Still, perhaps this will stop the depopulation of the area now – that was occurring previously thanks to the monstrosity known as Whitlee wind farm.

Thx to The Reporter locals have won the argument and sense and respects for home life and ‘ residential amenity’ has prevailed. Hallelujah
