Dear All

Just a short while ago Falk Renewables were refused permission for a wind farm on iconic Ben Wyvis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Wyvis). They didn’t appeal because of the strength of public feeling against it.

That doesn’t stop other developers chancing their luck and here we have two. Apologies for the late notification but objections need to be in by 7th February.

If you have the time and object to these developments please do so on the links below. It only takes a few minutes and adverse visual impact is high on the reasons to object. There is a real fear now that there will be a landscape of turbines from Fairburn to Novar overshadowing the Cromarty Firth and on full view to visitors heading north if we do not stop these proposed wind farms.

Times and attitudes are changing – you only have to read the objections on Highland Council’s website.

People have had enough.

If these links don’t work for you just copy and paste them into your browser address bar and they should open. Alternatively search on Highland Council website planning section with the references given.
