Dr Connor was contacted by a number of East Renfrewshire residents after their MSP, Ken MacIntosh, responded to their concerns about the effect on Public water supplies affected by the Whitelee windfarm development. Mr MacIntosh forwarded to these constituents a reply from Scottish Water stating their position.
Dr Connor felt that it would be helpful to put Scottish Water’s reply into the context of the changes that occurred in public and private water supplies at the time of the various construction phases of Whitelee windfarm. She has forwarded her open letter to Ken MacIntosh to SAS, to be distributed more widely.
