The Scottish Power Foundation is to fund 14 postgraduate scholarships for
students of energy and the environment.

The bursaries for the next academic year are aimed at graduates wanting to
pursue a career in energy related fields with a particular focus on the
development of renewable energies and boosting biodiversity, as well as the
efficiency of the energy system.

Since it was launched in 2010, the scheme has provided over £2.5 million in
grants towards industry training. The scholarships include full enrolment
costs as well as generous living allowances.
