Found this a very interesting programme. My husband and I live in Balnain and our community here is very much against a proposed wind farm – Cnoc an Eas. There is a lot of evidence in the Highlands of there being too many wind farms being built. An example is the Press and Journal dated 13th April 2016 regarding the refusal by Highland Council of Aberarder wind farm and Margaret Davidson saying ‘enough is enough’. We believe she is correct . My own calculation is that within Loch Ness area there are 128 turbines operational, 140 turbines under construction, 66 turbines approved, 28 turbines in Planning (which includes Cnoc an Eas) , 62 turbines in Scoping and 130 turbines that are either waiting for a decision or mast application (a total of 554 turbines)
