The final ministerial appointment and two portfolio announcements in the
UK’s Energy and Business Department have been made by the prime minister.

The new minister for British Energy and Industry is Jesse Norman, MP.

He was elected as MP for Hereford and South Herefordshire in May 2010 and
this is his first ministerial job.

Previously he was chairman of the Westminster Culture, Media and Sports
committee.

Although Baroness (Lucy) Neville-Rolfe was announced as a Minister in the
department last week, neither her portfolio nor that of fellow Minister
Nick Hurd, MP, was announced.

Today she has been confirmed as Minister of State for Energy and
Intellectual Property while Hurd is announced as Minister of State for
Climate Change and Industry.
