I SEE that North Ayrshire Council has approved an application to erect five
wind turbines on Holy Isle, which lies just off Arran (“Unholy row breaks
out over Buddhist monks’ wind farm”, The Herald, October 3, and Letters,
October 3). What next, solar panels on the roof of Roslin Chapel, a wind
farm in Rouken Glen park?
This is another ludicrous decision taken on the back of the demented
reasoning behind so-called renewables.
