The case was settled in a private out of court settlement before christmas with payouts expected to be awarded at a Hearing in April.
The private action was taken by householders living near the Carraigcannon Windfarm operated by Enercon. It operates the same design of turbines as another ongoing nuisance case in Aberdeenshire.
Residents commissioned Mike Stigwood of MAS Environmental while the Operators were advised by Gavin Irvine of ION Acouostics. Enercon settled to avoid the evidence being presented which would then become a precedent had there been an unfavouorable judgement as in the case of Jane and Julian Davis.
