Court proceedings
The private nuisance case against the Operators of the West Knock Windfarm in Aberdeenshire had it’s first procedural hearing at Aberdeen Sheriff Court last month.

The Sheriff allowed three weeks for the other side to lodge Answers and a further three weeks thereafter for parties to adjust their written pleadings.  A further procedural hearing has been fixed for 27 July.  At that hearing,  the court will be asked to fix the substantive hearing where the Sheriff will decide whether or not to grant the noise abatement order.
 
Please note that Neilston  (link below) and West Knock were two of the ten windfarms scrutinized as part of the Windfarm Impact Study (attached below).
