RES has been given planning approval for Cairn Duhie Wind Farm, a 20-turbine project near Ferness, Nairnshire. RES expect that the development will create more than £5.6 million of inward investment for the local economy during the wind farms construction and first year of operation.

Simon Peltenburg, Head of Projects – Scotland said; “We are delighted to have received a positive decision at Cairn Duhie. RES has been involved in the project for a number of years, we have carefully designed the wind farm and this has been shown in the decision reached by Scottish Ministers.”
