I noticed that they were shouting pretty loudly about the amount of power generated but refrained from telling us how many wind farm were switched off and receiving their lucrative subsidies! How many millions did that cost us all? The wind farm that we can see from our home is often switched off as they cannot get the power out and if often switched off even when it’s not particularly windy. I have been told that they have had a limit put on them as to how much power they are allowed to produce but I don’t know if that is fact. Nevertheless I have seen myself how often they are not working. I don’t suppose the wind industry and WWF (who should be more interested in how many birds and bats are being killed) will tell us how little wind is being produced on a day like this which is still?? Where do they suppose their power comes from when no wind and no sun?
