We’ve just been informed that VG Energy of Galston/Mauchline, East Ayrshire is in liquidation. (Front page of Kilmarnock Standard)

We have no concrete news on VG Consulting yet but they appear to have morphed into Ember Energy.

The company has been nominated for an award at this year’s Green Energy Awards.

The VG Energy website has been removed.

Glad to see that bunch of fraudsters have gone under. More dishonest than a room full of pick pockets.

Couldn’t happen to nicer people.

“We have no concrete news on VG Consulting yet but they appear to have morphed into Ember Energy.” — Ember Energy are an entirely separate entity operating out of VG Energy’s former Waterside premises. Of course, please contact them directly to confirm this.

Brian & Aileen: Being one of its fifty plus staff now out of work, I fail to see how. Can you enlighten me perhaps with some evidence to fraudulent dealings? I thought this website was against spin.

Hi Sophie, if you google VG Consulting you will see the large ad to the right of the page. If you click on the tab for their website it takes you directly to the Ember Energy website. That didn’t happen before.

Hi Aileen reason for this happening is due to VG being to lazy to sort this out before they left the site and dumped the people who worked for them in that particular business. We are currently trying to sort it as we have nothing to do with them.

Thanks for clearing that up Chris. Do you think you could explain that on the SAS Facebook page for everyone please?

I am sorry you have lost your job but it has also left us in a difficult position as the Acoustic Consultant has our noise monitoring data and recordings and we can’t contact her.

Hi Aileen – I am working with some of the team that were under VG Consulting. There is a completely different company now as VG Energy weren’t interested in the Consulting side and wanted to focus elsewhere.

Drop me an email if you want and I will put you in touch or could suggest someone.

Not sure if the post will strip out my email address or not so i’ll do it two ways:

Hi Aileen,

If it were possible for me to get the data to you, I honestly would. All of our logins were revoked the day after the redundancies to stop us from taking any information or contact details. I didn’t work with Diana directly, so I don’t have a personal contact number I can give you for her.

It’ll be no consolation, but you’re not alone. I know a few clients personally and they’re equally outraged.

Thanks Sophie. I have contacted the liquidator.
