Renewable Infrastructure Group said it had acquired the 25 megawatt Raith wind farm in Fife, Scotland from local developer Kennedy Renewables, for an undisclosed sum.

The wind farm featured nine 2.75MW GE turbines. The US engineering giant would continue to provide operations and maintenance services.

Little Raith was commissioned in November 2012 and benefited from renewable obligation certificate accreditation.

It had a power purchase agreement with Statkraft Markets effective from the project’s commissioning date for a duration of 15 years.
