DPEA ref NA-PAK-020 (Notified application)

Perth and Kinross Council

Erection Of A Wind Turbine And Ancillary Equipment

Although this application for planning permission was originally refused by the planning authority, the developer appealed against this refusal to the Local Review Body. They were minded to grant planning permission for the application against the advice of Historic Environment Scotland, therefore the case was referred to Scottish Ministers.  Planning authorities must notify Scottish Ministers if they intend to grant planning permission for certain categories of development or if a key agency has objected to a development. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/local-news/turbine-plan-approved-after-successful-18990539

The reporter will be tasked with considering the application, which may include an inquiry, then will need to write a report of recommendations to Scottish Ministers, who will make the final decision.

The case is currently on hold because the application documentation has not yet arrived at DPEA from the planning authority.
