Whitelaw Brae Windfarm Screening For Lifetime Extension and Tip Height Increase

Scottish Borders Council ECU Ref: ECU00002059

Extension of the operational life of the development from 25 years to 30 years • Increasing the turbine tip height by 3 metres from 133.5m to 136.5m • Increase in rotor diameter from 107m up to 117m

This request is being made following a review of the suitable and available wind turbines currently available on the market and following further discussions with turbine suppliers.
