We are looking at organising a mini-series of presentations at WTN2021 looking at factors that affect turbine noise or its impact but are not generally part of the expertise of acousticians. This was prompted by an email after the Lisbon conference from Chris Feist who suggested a presentation on wind turbine controls so people can better understand how the control system affects the sound..
Other subjects might be weather, including the patterns of wind round hills or how local or national attitudes to turbines affect the acceptability of a development.
