At today’s North Ayrshire Council planning committee meeting, https://north-ayrshire.public-i.tv/core/portal/home the Councillors unanimously agreed with the Officer’s recommendation to refuse planning permission. No community benefit was offered and Members were reminded it was not a material planning consideration. The proposal was considered to be contrary to 10 policies in the Local Development Plan. No doubt it will still be appealed!
