Free CDs of EIAs for those with broadband problems

A small step forward.

At the last DPEA Stakeholders Forum meeting in April this year, SAS raised the issue of providing CDs of Environmental Impact Assessments free of charge, particularly for people who had inadequate broadband. We suggested this should be paid for by the developer. This idea was supported by DPEA and this morning we have been informed that this will be taken forward.

“We are likely to confirm in the advert/letters in relation to the environmental information that anyone who cannot obtain or access a copy should contact our office at DPEA@gov.scot.”

Small steps but it all helps!
