As most of you probably already know, Caithness Windfarm Information Forum (CWIF) has maintained a list of wind turbine accidents and incidents since 2006. Their accident data is updated quarterly and has been received very well world-wide. Sadly, they are no longer in a position to keep up the website.
As the loss of this data would be unthinkable, Scotland Against Spin has agreed to host it on our website and will continue to update the data on a quarterly basis. We are honoured to do this and thank CWIF for all their hard work over the years.
The data can now be accessed at https://scotlandagainstspin.org/turbine-accident-statistics-to-30-june-2021/  or by clicking the Accident Statistics tab at the top of the Home Page.
