New email address for submissions.
A number of members alerted us to the fact that their submissions to our Petition had not been published on the Scottish Parliament website. Upon further investigation, we discovered that the Petitions Committee had been renamed on 30 June and their old email address (petitions@parliament.scot) had been replaced with a new one. petitions.committee@parliament.scot They hadn’t bothered to tell us and unfortunately hadn’t configured the old address properly in order to forward emails to the new one!
Can anyone who made a submission during July please check to see if their name is on the list and if not, can you please resubmit using the new email address. Click on the + sign to access the list. Many thanks.  https://www.parliament.scot/…/pe1864-increase-the…
The first 100 submissions are now available for viewing on their new website. This can be accessed here https://www.parliament.scot/…/pe1864-increase-the…
Further submissions are still being checked and uploaded to the website so keep watching over the coming weeks to make sure your name appears.    If you haven’t yet made a submission, there is still time.  Please send your comments to petitions.committee@parliament.scot quoting the petition name and ref no.

I wholeheartedly support this petition to bring more awareness and practical safeguards into the planning, business and legal procedures for on shore windfarms. At the moment, local people can be pressurised by the current system from landowners and employers to give their approval to such developments.
