A hearing into a controversial windfarm proposal in the Glenkens is due to take place in March.
Hundreds of people have objected to Falck Renewables’ plans for seven turbines at Mochrum Fell near Corsock.
The firm has asked the Scottish Government to step in as the council failed to issue a decision within the required timeframe.
And case officer Christine Brown has now written to interested parties to inform them that hearing sessions will take place during the week of March 14.
Falck’s original plan for eight, 125m turbines on the site was recommended for approval in 2015. It was rejected by the council’s planning applications committeee before being overturned by the Scottish Government.
The latest appeal concerns plans for seven turbines, this time with a maximum height of 150m.  https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/local-news/hearing-controversial-glenkens-windfarm-take-25802597
