Three new wind turbines are set to be built at West Calder.
A planning application to build the structures at Pearie Law has been approved by West Lothian Council.
Two turbines will stand at 180m tall while another will measure 150m and will be built by Huddersfield-based Wind Estate (UK) Ltd.
The application attracted objections from people living nearby, who cited proximity to houses and the negative impact on the surrounding countryside.
One said: “This proposal situates turbines very near to residential properties, far nearer than any of the previous installations, of which there are many in our area already.  https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/local-news/plans-wind-turbines-given-go-25870084?fbclid=IwAR3q1bJvD8v4qhw0y5LSgv0oAVYV88Yr9wleWpmQ5zqA7Brc6qYcAxDEVSM
