Application for planning permission reference 21/417/VR, dated 6 October 2021, to carry
out the development without compliance with conditions 1 and 21 imposed in the grant of
planning permission 17/083/TPPMAJ dated 18 April 2019
The development proposed: Erection of five wind turbines (maximum capacity 20.4MW,
maximum height 125 metres), erection of a meteorological mast (maximum height 81
metres), substation and associated infrastructure (including access track).

Decision
I allow the appeal and grant planning permission for the erection of five wind turbines
(maximum capacity 20.4MW, maximum height 125 metres), erection of a meteorological
mast (maximum height 81 metres), substation and associated infrastructure (including
access track), subject to the 23 conditions listed at the end of this notice
On the principal matter of whether the operational life of the windfarm, as specified in
Conditions 1 and 21 of the original consent, should be extended to 30 years, I have
concluded at paragraph 17 above that this should not happen, and the 25 year period
should be maintained
