So Scottish Renewables publish a blog on their website summarising the RSPB’s letter about the impact of avian flu but fail to mention the final para of the letter in the hope no-one will bother following the link to read it in its entirety!  Cherry picking is one word for it.
It says:
“Finally, and importantly, we need to guarantee that the necessary development of marine renewables minimises further harm to nature and only happens in parallel with measures that restore nature at equal scale and pace.”  https://www.scottishrenewables.com/publications/1125-rspb-scotland-letter-on-avian-influenza?fbclid=IwAR1zWboouYLOPmGTpvRNqiss8LWifRxKBRNltXJb8C-XtOvVW5j0rtiljNo
