Four massive new wind turbines could be built near the Harthill service station off the M8 if a planning application is successful.
The application to North Lanarkshire Council for four 200 metre tall turbines and related infrastructure, has been made by GreengridPower3, a subsidiary of Infinergy.
This company is involved in establishing and operating wind farms around the UK and the proposed Torrance Extension II Wind Farm would be capable of generating 26.4 megawatts and operational for a period of 40 years. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/…/plans-unveiled-four…
