Rivox Wind Energy Hub is located wholly within the Dumfries and Galloway Council (DGC) administrative area, within the
Beattock Composite and covers an area of circa 3115 hectares (ha), approximately 5 km west of Moffat
The construction and operation of a new Wind Farm (Rivox Wind Farm) comprising up to 29 turbines and energy storage, with a maximum blade tip height of 200m – 230m and a combined installed capacity of greater than 50 megawatts (MW).   https://www.energyconsents.scot/ApplicationDetails.aspx?cr=ECU00003293
