A peat slide at a site close to one of the UK’s largest onshore wind farms has caused permanent environmental damage, experts have said.
Dave Petley, an expert in geological hazards and vice-chancellor at the University of Hull, said it would cause lasting damage.
“This landslide was not large by peat slide standards but it was still environmentally damaging,” he said.
