A fire broke out at a battery storage facility near Rothienorman in Aberdeenshire this afternoon.

It would be good if somebody could find out if it was a battery on fire, or if it was some other equipment at the site.

    I am fairly sure it wasn’t a battery unit that caught fire. It certainly doesn’t look like a BESS unit in the photos I have seen. Also, if it’s the facility I think it is, then there won’t be any battery units in site yet
