This is the tale of two countries, one with abundant, cheap energy and the other with scarce, expensive energy, set to get more expensive and less plentiful. Yet, it is the first country that has declared an energy emergency and is pulling out all the stops to increase energy supply and bring down prices further. Of course, I am comparing the USA with the UK.
