A WIND farm development is to be considered by Scottish Borders Council.
Alerion UK has submitted a scoping report to planning officers at the local authority.
It is a development consisting of up to four wind turbines and associated infrastructure, including electrical transformers, hard-standings, access roads, cabling, borrow pits and a single electrical substation on land north of Windshiel Farm in Duns.
The council can provide an opinion on the application but the ultimate say on whether it goes ahead rests with the Scottish Government’s energy consents unit.  https://www.bordertelegraph.com/news/25367760.duns-alerion-uk-hoping-build-wind-farm-development/?fbclid=IwY2xjawMAAH1leHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHiZzDyEyJogv7sDwYL5_ckz_JReiIDoZI-HutOvSI0vwDLtpjWl0cZ6rqLwf_aem_mMeoe06usu9UjRmTGaH9iA
