EAST Ayrshire Council looks set to refuse plans for a five-turbine wind farm extension near New Cumnock.
Invenergy had lodged proposals for a five-turbine extension to the previously approved 19-turbine Pencloe Wind Farm.
The company said that “careful consideration” had been given to the proposed layout and the design.
There would be a temporary construction period anticipated for up to 14 months with a proposed operational lifetime of up to 40 years, and thereafter a period for decommissioning and restoration, anticipated to take approximately one year.  https://www.cumnockchronicle.com/news/25394276.east-ayrshire-council-pencloe-wind-farm-extension-plans/?fbclid=IwY2xjawMQaPZleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHkMX_YwGPAMYQ_JFOp5vFbupqA5Aql5GEdNnVcxXwEuvuYh6nT5iEgT2rNvG_aem_LwHmnItL2tJMh_gYxFGZpw
