IT was presented as an information event to update Highland residents on imminent work on an 80km underground renewable energy transmission line from Dundonnell passing near the village of Contin to Fanellan in the Beauly area. But it turned into one in which audience members bombarded the project organiser with often unanswered questions and unfavourable comments.
“Chaotic”, “shambolic”, “shocking”, “confusing” and “uncertain” were some of the descriptions by members of the public after attending SSEN’s two-hour Contin Community Hall event last Thursday evening aimed at gathering support for a key Highland transmission link as part of its “Pathway to 2030” multi-billion-pound renewable energy developments.  https://www.thenational.scot/community/subscriber/25678486.highland-power-event-brings-questions-answers/?fbclid=IwY2xjawOivfZleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZBAyMjIwMzkxNzg4MjAwODkyAAEemXlqxPc5Do1t5Kbr6tz_e-mfbUA2BHphSe_KJ7IvPnfv3mjnEKyRZIMiBlg_aem_Xy2GaIJYDgFSH9r5GqAoCw
