The SNP’s Energy Secretary was slated over her refusal to meet campaigners worried about huge energy projects until just weeks before the Scottish Parliament Election. Gillian Martin provoked anger in her Aberdeenshire West constituency by failing to listen to local concerns about pylons and wind farms being built.
Some of the groups that made requests included Scotland Against Spin, Dunbeath Action Group, Action Against Pylons: Scottish Borders Alliance (AAP:SBA), Fergus Ewing MSP on behalf of Strathdearn Community Council and Maree Todd on behalf of representatives of the local community council, Caithness, Sutherland & Ross. https://www.scottishdailyexpress.co.uk/news/politics/snp-energy-minister-snubbed-dozens-37072742?fbclid=IwY2xjawRdS8tleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZBAyMjIwMzkxNzg4MjAwODkyAAEe9eV9EExCDRVPbopo9MohXrbVFP-YpmdS03y38IWm9oY577GUNtro3fR8F1I_aem_DG–dtbGzXSggvnUv_Q_LA
