We always have trouble getting accurate renewable statistics out of the Scottish Government.
Here is a UK Gov website which provides quarterly planning updates. It also provides an interactive map of all renewable generation projects whether refused, consented or in operation. https://data.barbour-abi.com/smart-map/repd/desnz/?type=repd It helps, for example to know which areas are most blighted and which are not. So areas like, for example, West Suffolk are spared both industrial sized wind and solar generation blight, whereas many areas of Scotland are blighted by many clustered industrial sized renewable generation facilities of both wind and solar generation.
The map is still not entirely up to date as the pace of granting and constructing on shore wind farms with turbines in excess of 200m in Scotland is obviously faster than the UK Gov can keep up with, but it’s a useful guide.
The map can also be limited to all >50MW generation projects. Again, not many of those in England! https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/renewable-energy-planning-database-monthly-extract
