Three-quarters of people in Scotland say offshore wind farms should only be built where they do not harm nature , according to a new poll.
The polling, commissioned by RSPB, found that there was strong support for offshore wind within Scotland, but only alongside strong protections for nature.
Almost eight in 10 people (79%) said they were more likely to support offshore wind farms away from important wildlife sites. Three in five people said that they thought Berwick Bank, an offshore wind farm off the east coast of Scotland, should only go ahead if its impacts are significantly reduced.  https://www.heraldscotland.com/news/26610748.three-quarters-scots-want-nature-safe-wind-farms/
