Trade unions fear that Scottish workers have missed out on a £2billion windfarm windfall from energy giant EDF.

The lucrative contract to make sub-sea jackets for 60 turbines off the Fife coast would have secured more than 1000 jobs for the foreseeable future.

Sources close to the project voiced concerns that little of the work is coming to Scotland and that the lucrative contract has been “gifted” to a company based in Indonesia.
