Residents on Dava Moor have said Lochindorb and its historic castle – one time home of the infamous Wolf of Badenoch – will be ruined if 185 metre high wind turbines are allowed to tower over the rugged beauty spot.
Community campaigners are objecting to Fred. Olsen Renewables’ proposals for Lethen Wind Farm which they said will loom large over the loch.

The more of these ugly movie sets that are built that merely produce energy THEATER the less chance we have of going out to beautiful unspoiled places like this to fully recharge and then the further we have to drive to get to the very few places left, thus we then use more energy! The key foundation the sales pitchers use is “saving the planet” from clean reusable naturally recycled carbon dioxide which is in an amount of 1 part per 2499 other parts of MOVABLE AIR. Air only temporarily gets stuck where carbon dioxide can “accumulate” – Mother Nature and climate itself keep it in balance, the changes are minimal, THUS THE ENTIRE FOUNDATION OF WIND ENERGY PUSH IS QUICKSAND, there is no threat to the planet. Vast space surrounds Earth for billions of miles of freezing cold 456 degrees F below ZERO! The sun is the only heat source of any significance. Nothing man can do can ever overheat the planet that concept is such a joke. Carbon “blankets” do not exist nor do footprints. It’s all marketing HYPE and these systems cause more energy to be used. Try insulating your house with carbon dioxide see how well that insulates, it does not. Blow on an open window or open door in the winter, the carbon dioxide does not get stuck nor form insulation or a blanket nor a tissue it simply DOES NOT INSULATE. These ugly towering spinning sticks draw power from the grid to keep the parts lubricated, they are turned on burn up excess energy due to the chaotic nature of how they unbalance the grid, they are completely dependent on oil and other natural Earth based fuels like natural gas backup systems. Going all electric wastes energy, it is inefficient for many applications such as heating using more. Wind is not free unless you are using it to grind grain as in traditional wind mills. To install these industrial behemoths is a waste of energy. The only place they belong is on the Sun.
