The SAS petition was heard for the third time by the Scottish Parliament Petitions Committee this morning. As it was also being debated at the same time as another wind farm petition to make shared ownership mandatory, our fear was that this would muddy the waters and unfortunately that is exactly what happened. The petition will be continued to the next meeting of the Committee in two weeks time or after Summer recess.  https://www.scottishparliament.tv/meeting/citizen-participation-and-public-petitions-committee-june-15-2022?clip_start=11%3A17%3A09&clip_end=11%3A53%3A52&fbclid=IwAR1OvKKHN1iuFubg86hfKLl2ATLDgZqKIOnjHsgxjCEVQwWpJfoyzlwd8Nc

SAS will be making another submission to the Petitions Committee before the next meeting. Can members please let us know if they have ever received any worthwhile help from Planning Aid Scotland in relation to a wind farm application/appeal/hearing or inquiry?
