A WIND turbine as tall as the Forth Bridge could go up near Kincardine if plans are given the green light.

Alex Brewster, of Kirkton Farm, Culross has applied to put up the 99.7-metre (327ft) turbine for 25 years at the farm, on a site near Devilla Forest.

The plans include associated meter housing and a 535m access track. The turbine has a capacity of up to 500kW and the income from electricity generated will go towards continued employment of eight farm workers and upkeep of the farm.
